In psalm 82, the Lord is angry with others elohim who received the mission to judge fairly. Instead of defending the cause of orphans they sided with wicked people.
The Lord says:
6 “You are gods.
You are all sons of Elyon.
7 You will certainly die like humans
and fall like any prince.”
We expect justice from the Lord saying:
8 Arise, O Elohim!
Judge the earth, because all the nations belong to you.
